The Company is an independent bauxite producer and explorer. The Company’s principal activities include the exploration, mining and sale of bauxite, and the brownfield expansion of the Bauxite Hills Mine. The Company’s flagship project is the Bauxite Hills Mine, which is a single operating mine located 95 kilometers (km) north of Weipa in Western Cape York in Far North Queensland, with a total tenement package covering approximately 1,900 square kilometers (km2). The Bauxite Hills Mine has an estimated ore reserve of 101.5 metric tons (Mt) and total resources of 131.2 Mt. The Company produces a high alumina bauxite and ships directly to customers in large ore carriers.More
