Hired a car at the airport and drove.Those GPS's are great.
Pretty straight forward really and only took 4 hrs to get to Wandoan.
The market in Wandoan is still red hot and they haven't even started the mine yet.
When I first bought there 19 properties were for rent - today 2
Although the realestate.com shows 2 houses left for sale there is only one because the other is under offer through a different agent.
My house rented within days of the renovations being finished and I'm expecting a big rise in the rent when the next lease starts.
Wandoan is a very small town with the least amount of land that is able to be developed for housing of all the mining towns in QLD
So this mine could push it to Moranbah like rents and house prices.
I'll be going back to Wandoan in July
