The Norseman Gold Project’s potential has been demonstrated by its previous performance, when in 2009, at a time when only two of the mines were operational, a total of c. 80,000 ounces of gold was produced.
Exploration aimed at increasing the lives of the mines is ongoing as does exploration across the wider project area aimed at increasing resources and identifying other mines to support future production. Extensive data has already been amassed across all the tenements, demonstrating the huge potential of the entire project.

The total capacity of the processing facility is considered to be approximately 720,000 tonnes per annum. Over the past three years the plant ore throughput has decreased significantly below the millcapacity as a result of a lack of ore. The restricted ore availability results in the mill being operated on a roster basis with treatment occurring for 9 out of every 14 shifts.
