    Agree with you that the company doesnt have to soak up the accumulated losses before paying dividends. The company may pay pay out the whole amount of profit after tax each year as dividends regardless of its accumulated losses from prior years.

    Witn regard to tax, as I posted above, the full amount of accumulated losses is not available as a deduction for tax because some of the losses relate to previous owners of CDU and cannot be offset against future taxable profits.

    This is evident from the company's annual report and you may check with the company on that one.
