    Pmys,

Without due respect and without offence meant in any way or form, may I ask how long for have you been investing in the sharemarket.

For, if you have been for a very long period of time, you would have known that, not always, (if any, depending on how a farm-is agreement has been agreed upon), farm-ins bring in heaps of cash.

Farm-ins usually are in the form of someone coming in with the undertaking of doing a certain amount of drillings while spending an agreed amount of cash, in return for a certain amount/percentage to the farminee of what has been found as a result of it, in return.

Never have I heard anyone paying big amounts of cash to a Farminor, (the one looking out for the farminees), just to be allowed to be doing some drillings.
Proper Farminor/Farminees agreements are completed once an agreement has been reached and signed by both parties to the deal, and then it will become legally enforceable and binding to both parties.

The only time that someone will bring cash in, is when an agreement has been struck/reached that the one paying the cash, will get in return a percentage stake of a tenement. It will then become a Joint Venture where the new entrant will pay cash in return for an X amount of the tenement in question. Not a Farm-in agreement.

If a JV agreement has been reached it is usual the case that both the parties to the JV will share the all costs of drlling, exploring or whatever is represented in that JV agreements, to the percentage level of the new JV ownership.

Bear in mind though, that, as no one knows what is underground that land, the amount of cash that is usually paid is not that huge either. The risk factor for the one that will bring that money in, has to be allowed for as well.

So, IMHO, before you are starting to read and follow what has been written in these threads, which in most cases are just driven by self interest, you should firstly be doing some proper due diligence and research. Only then you would be able to sort out the wheat from the chuff.

And IMO there is plenty of chuff blowing around here of late. And with plenty of self interest driven therein as well.

    Good luck mate.

PS. All is good, and always will be.
