Thanks for that Coops. This is all very emotional. I traced the story on Google and there were some poster comments. The first poster said that "he/she was experienced in offshore drilling and you only had to see the film Gasland to realise that we have a fraccing problem with those kitchen fawcett fires"
I had to make a reply post which said that his/her emotions were typically ignorant. I infromed him/her that these kitchen fires were occuring 20 years BEFORE fraccing was ever invented. Indeed 95% of the world's hydrocarbons have already leaked to the eath's surface. And it is still occuring. There have been over 1 million fracs done in the USA and whilst there have been some cowboy operators the EPA now demand exacting regulatory practices.
I just wish people would do some research before they start marching. Thank goodness the Perth authorities are intelligent and have researched this subject properly.
