1. Society is corrupt - filled with garbage in the media, tolerant of parental failure, promoting illusions of happiness through materialism, intergenerational poverty, going to war to please George Bush, etc.
2. Cops are politically unsophisticated - obviously in such a society the ones who don't get shot boy cops are those at home in Point Piper a few kms down the road, while those who are shot are in Kings cross at midnight.
3. The solution is to take a deeper approach to the human situation and finding causes, rather than just supplying band-aid solutions like policing.
