The cops are the only thing standing between law abiding people in the community and complete anarchy.

Anyone who is not comfortable with this situation is welcome to move to Iraq or Iran.

Either that, or get behind our boys and girls in blue. They are just like the rest of us, people who want a safe community.

They have wives and children, and they certainly want to go home to them after their shift finishes.

Police are human and sometimes poor choices are made. But, they are rare and the coppers deserve our full support.

It's a very tough job. And there is always someone who wants to be critical and whinge. Those types should join up perhaps, and make the difference they so crave.

We owe the coppers an enormous debt of gratitude.
