Thumbs up to both bizzboy and spozzie. I agree with bizzboy that the TSX-V cross listing is likely to be the strongest driver for the share price. Clearly, all the other announcements don't seem to have swayed the market very much.
I do think that Spozzie has a point though ... EHR actually does have a following, but it's not on hotcopper. The last time I checked, the register had more than 700 shareholders listed and yet posts seem to get only about 30 views during the week, maybe 50 views over a weekend.
If I were to hazard a guess, I would say that most of the people who use hotcopper are looking for the next hot stock. The popularity of the daytrading thread is a testament to that. As such, the hotcopper effect on a share price is most likely to be a transient thing. It would be interesting to read some research on the link between forum posts and stock price. I suspect that a correlation, if one exists, might be relatively weak most of time. I would hypothesise that most spikes in hotcopper chatter on a stock could correlate with a spike in the share price, however, I believe the correlation may only be temporary. Just guessing here. Sounds like a more interesting research topic than my own actually.
