It's my understand that Land Council Approvals are all in place and have been for a couple of years now. (CTP did EXTREMELY well with this via their tree planting program).
It has also been suggested that the NT Gov't approvals are mostly a rubber stamp - the NT is desperate to get as much going as they can and make money off the mining boom.
Agreed, CTP haven't shown that the requests have been submitted, but with so much not shown to us over time, well it's hardly surprising. OTOH many times they have been abused for putting out too much info - kind of a hard line to find really. Some people want to see everything, others just want the final results.
Lauzza may be right - that Central will get a JV in to help with Surprise - and that's well and good, IF they are able to negotiate from a point of strength. ATM the board is running with their tail between their legs, and that is NOT a point of Strength. I am extremely fearful that they will sell too much too low, just to protect themselves.
Snowkat, you have suggested that you think the board isn't compentant enough to drill surprise on their own. Does this mean you support an EGM to allow all shareholders thier vote on the topic, ASAP?
I know that Lauzza doesn't support the removal of the board, yet certainly his/her post at the top of this thread doesn't make it sound like he/she is brimming with confidence in the board. I'm not sure why one would support a board they aren't confident in.
