at 25ooo dollars it will take 10 years to pay back your investment..then you have 5 years left on the life of the unit ( then the stack will need to be replaced at ..how much ??) and you still have to pay the gas bill (1\3 of your electricity bill) ...there are no saving to be made
So 25 k plus your gas over 15 years..gas $300 a 1\4 ? = 1200 x 15 years = $18000 + $25000 = $43000 over 15 years = $2900 approx per year to buy that power from the grid today would cost approx $2600 per year..300 a year down * 15 = 4500
It just doesn't add up at 25k per unit..if they can get down to 8k per unit ( the price cfu reckon they could get it to market for)..it would look a lot better
