What about the caucus ? I believe this would also require a cleanup to get back the ALP grass roots.
Rudd wasn't my favorite PM however he was 100% on Gillard, and the current downward trend of the ALP will drive them into opposition for many years to come.
As I have said before, I believe a good stable and robust democracy would be around a 10-20 seat majority. What has occurred in Queensland is not good for democracy as it becomes almost impossible for the opposition to hold the Government to account!
