Please do not revert to the oneliners (which I used to love, it took me hours to work out all the combinations and permutations of meaning) as I now can have the full Olive whom I am coming to revere as the intellectual powerhouse of the left.

I really only got interested in the atheists (athiests are unexceptional and quite boring. I am sure we are all born with the atheistic "gene" and it takes a tremendous fight,as with CS Lewis, to come to a real faith) and goblins, when I discerned the most intelligent women on HC had arrived.

What intrigued me was your reference to JC and spirituality. I thought I could needle you into explaining what you meant, by firing a few random shots around the site.

I had always assumed the Left are atheists and mechanists but some of the most unlikely codgers appear to have gone all religious and boast about the spiritual side of their nature.

What do you mean by spirituality?

My quick precise of Jesus' ethical teaching is:

Love God, Love Your neighbour (which includes your enemy) and true religion is inward as contrasted to formal and outward.

Where is the spirituality bit in JC for you?
