It was a joke guys lol ... I thought Paraports post was a bit silly, I mean what he said plays out in every stock, every stock has its irrational moments.
I'm really surprised nobody caught that.
On a serious note though I kinda agree with DiscoStu, I have said before that I was worried that the sale price would be sub $2 and that was when the price was higher than it is now. Somewhere between $1.55 and $1.75 could be in the ballpark.
I think the company are doing all they can to impress potential suitors and are pulling everything out of he hat to show the potential value of Coalspur hence yesterdays announcement. I expect more value adding announcements to follow.
The problem we are facing at present is the continued focus of the media in the US on natural gas to the detriment of coal. I watch CNBC every night and without fail the commentators say coal is dead and to get out of coal stocks.
They fail to see that the rest of the world and particularly Asia will be relying on and increasing their use of coal for decades.
Once natural gas prices get back over $3.00/4.00 in the US (and it will) the coal stocks will come back into favour.
In some ways the longer this plays out the better it is for us.
If I was in charge I would be selling no more than 10% of Vista at this point in time.
