if indeeed the correlation is like a triangulated composite from multiple factos, and the rising GHGs are being nullified by the falling solar activity, then we have two possible outcomes ahead-
1 is that if solar activity goes right down, then we know that by increasing our emissions we might have a chance at keeping the place warmer (although this would require acknowlegment of the greenhouse effect)
2 is that if solar activity remains in a higher cycle, then we are going to have some hot years ahead (although this would also require acknowlegment of the greenhouse effect)
