I don't have one, nor do I need or want one.

Here's a news flash AR, I pay my own overseas medical insurance and will most likely be flown out and treated in Singapore.

I paid high taxes in Aus for far too long and served 6 years in the forces. I don't draw anything from Aus and most likely now never will.

Yes you can add elderly patients to my list of pensioners and veterans that are hard done by IMO. They get sub standard care, in some cases no care (wait list.. what a sick joke that is). Whilst taxpayers (not the govt) continue to pay ever increasing illegal immigrants free medical care, free legal, give them mobile phones, pay their phone bills, trips back home to see there families they deserted, computers internet....and the list goes on. All this while our young lads fight and die in their wars...

No wonder they need higher taxes...

I work hard, pay my taxes in my country of choice, have no deductions, no benefits, no super nothing. Just what I earn and pay for by myself and I am on the highest tax rate here of 30% and happily pay it. Pretty simple.

I still have my Aus super...because the govt says I have to. But don't contribute to it because the govt says I can't. But I do get to pay 30% tax on the gains it makes each year (by my own efforts not losing govt supported "fund managers"), but I get no benefits from Aus for the tax I pay.
