Full credit to you Bigpete for taking the iniative with that first step of actually making contact with legals on this. I'm convinced the time has come for this move particularly with the more recent info & developments that have come to light compared to what was known a few months back.
There's a lot of energy spent here talking, complaining, venting about the problem, however ultimately it is only collective action, and not talk, that is capable of achieving a fair outcome for us minority shareholders.
Many of us small investors are time poor (me included) and would struggle to initiate such action independently - this is exactly what predators like WN are counting on. However I'm confident that once some tangible action is underway there are many just waiting to throw their weight behind it.
