The basis of my complaint is that MW breached the following general principle 5 & 6 by presenting unbalanced, inaccurate and unfair reporting.

MW made representations about the Auditor unwillingness to take a bet, when MW should have known the Auditor's obligfation is to the company and the board and could not "take the bet". MW also made comments about the existence of the LNG equipment that could have been refuted via a read of the annual report and/or a phone call to Chart etc

To imply a fraud when a balanced, and accurate report would have revealed no fraud, in light of the delays at sengkang, volitility and closely held nature of the stock MW knew very well he was likely to cause a panic - and that is what happened wiping out in excess of $600m from the market capitalisation in the week that followed.


A more serious complaint of marrket manipulation should also be laid with ASIC, but I understand scum sucking market manipulating journalists are exempt from the rules protecting investoors from analysts who mightt be tempted to do the same thing.

General Principle 6: Transparent and fair presentation
Publications are free to advocate their own views and publish the bylined opinions of others, as long as readers can recognise what is fact and what is opinion. Relevant facts should not be misrepresented or suppressed, headlines and captions should fairly reflect the tenor of an article and readers should be advised of any manipulation of images and potential conflicts of interest

General Principle 1: Accurate, fair and balanced reporting
Publications should take reasonable steps to ensure reports are accurate, fair and balanced. They should not deliberately mislead or misinform readers either by omission or commission.
