    Caveat Emptor Malaysia

Freighter, its either Tuesday for the announcement or I am going to suggest to hubby we look at something else.

Really will be very disappointed if not by end of business Tuesday.

I think LYC Board needs to "Stop Immediately Stage 2", and bring Stage 2 to WA or SA.

LYC needs to have its eggs in different baskets, not just its raw materials in different baskets.

If LYC had of in the beginning when this crap started up in the first place, decided to build Stage Two here we would be getting pretty close to having something to look at.

If you love management that is your business and if you don’t that's your business as well, however to put all ones eggs in one basket in a risky country like Malaysia under the known issues is inviting problems.

I have to believe that Tuesday will bring this matter to a conclusion.

We both are of the opinion that if the conclusion is bad, then we have to wear our loss in our self funded Super fund.

Irrespective of this outcome, we absolutely will not invest in any company, which has its base or a subsidiary in Malaysia. I've never had much faith in Malaysia and when the company announced it was going to build the LAMP there, I can honestly say, it seriously rattled both of us.

Whatever happens with the LAMP, we have a feeling of the past few days that its not going to be smooth as it should be. The Malaysia Govt is setting the bar higher and higher. They can't even accept the conditions, which the IAEA put down, the AELB put down and the assurances given by LYC.

Seriously what are a bunch of conferences, committees going to achieve which have already covered the topics regarding the LAMP?

The project has already more than compensated for the locals; it's already gone over the top several times with added conditions for safety and the environment.

There has to come a point where the company says, why continue? If the Malaysian Govt really wanted to have a Rare Earths Industry in their country, then they would have given LYC permission's to at least have gotten on with it by now. For heavens sake, its only a Temporary Operating Licence, not a Permanent Operating Licence.

Seriously Management should just cut them loose, move on to a place where permission has already been granted and no delays. Ok, yes their will be delays whiles the plant is moved to a new location and reassembled. But that is better than looking down a loading sword case every minute of every day in Malaysia.

I just wish as private investors we could ask questions at these conferences like for example??

After all the reviews and endless court cases and IAEA, AELB and other Govt Agencies and approval given for the TOL to commence operations of the LAMP, what will more conferences, committee and independent reviews achieve that the worlds leading Agency has not already requested can't achieve?

Freighter I agree, typing away is very cathartic, it also reminds one of the famous saying and why it exists. "Caveat Emptor"

I have to stay away from here for a while, no matter how much I want to know what's happening. This is just doing my head in.

    I repeat -
