Hi Red,
I have done much the same. Sold a few non performers and used whatever cash I could reasonably muster to buy MAD. I must say that apart from my Super, I am pretty much "all in" on MAD. The rewards versus the minimal risks are just too great to ignore.
I know people who have very large holdings and who have been in from the beginning - and I can tell you, they are not even considering selling at the current "low" levels. The numbers they hope to achieve in time are multiples of the current sp - and they know a lot more about the company than I do.
Onyx - I'm fairly conservative and am happy to hold for several years to achieve 200-300% gains. However at the speed in which MAD management is executing their incredible strategy, I daresay those gains will be achieved well before my conservative time frame.
As the great Dan Aykroyd once said in Caddyshack, "Keep your eye on the fruit", (MAD being the fruit in this case) for the next 3-6 months and we will then be able to see how serious these guys are in building a behemoth company.
