SO WHY DID THE SP RISE???

You do not know. You can guess, but you do not know.

It might simply be that some guy wanted to be 400,000 shares before approval!

We don't know, they don't know - so why sould the company guess?

It is the ASX who decide if an announcement is released as price sensitive or not, not TIS.
