This one is for the IVR faithful. I managed to talk an old classmate of mine from undergrad geology to take a look at IVR for me. This guy was a gun at economic geology, however he hasnt worked with silver. Anyway this is what he said...

"Bit slow off the mark, but I have just started to have a look at those companies.

So far I have only looked at IVR, Investigator.

I was a bit sceptical at first, but that Paris discovery is starting to look pretty good, they seem to keep coming up with some pretty good silver grades, which is very encouraging.

They initially seem to have thought it was some sort of supergene/weathering deposit, which wouldn't have been good, as there would have been no depth extent, and possibly difficult to mine a thin "flat lying" deposit at 40 or so metres depth, and it didn't really look like they were getting consistent enough results in all the drilling to indicate a continuous sheet.

It is starting to look like they are getting grades at deeper depths. They seem to think that they are seeing steeper structures (their so called feeder structures). Some of their better holes seem to form a consistent trend that may be parallel to the strike of the granodiorite contact.

If they can start to get some depth and strike extent on these probable structures, and consistently good grades between adjacent drill holes it will turn into a pretty good deposit.

Very recently they have started to do a lot of drilling. There should be enough information with that to start to work things out. If I look more closely at those holes soon and see how continuous their grades are, I might get some idea of the size of the deposit they could have. I will have to compare that to some known silver deposits.

I haven't worked with silver, so I don't have a strong idea exactly what constitutes a good deposit.

The very superficial look I took at their other projects, and the fact that they are not talking much about them indicates there is nothing to get too excited about yet with those prospects."

Thought it a good idea to post on an otherwise grim looking day.

    Cheers
