zancs - hope you're right. will be interesting to see how the media present it - I suspect the usual suspects will spin the same ol propaganda... they must do it differently in Malaysia, but how a high brow academic symposium can "educate" the obviously uneducated is beyond me. Do any of the villagers even know what a symposium is and what is "symposium" in Malaysian anyway?

Maybe Julia should set up a carbon tax symposium so as silly old me can understand the complications of shafting Australia for a 5% reduction in our emissions which will do sod all good when the Chinese and the Indians do that in a couple of Sundays? That'll tell me what's good for me.
