I agree about the level of Physics BB.

I did a couple of searches looking for the IR capture cross section for CO2.

Didn't get far at all until I saw this discussion.

The initial post is seriously flawed but the discussion seems to head in a logical direction.

Something there for HC44 to work with at any rate.
