i entered this stock for the first time over 12 months ago and have made a good sum on the way up....
I suppose when you are 'with' a stock long enough you do understand a little of what they do.
I stated many mnay mnay months ago that 'at the time it was one of the best charts at the time on the asx'.
At the moment it is one of the worst!! However i have had it on my watch list for sometime and after dowloading each evening will look at ABU.
Messy. i have a watch list of stocks of which ABU is one, and i do several scans every night.
As i said ABU was what i considered one of the best charts on the asx for some time there, as was BRU just a classic and RFE another classic... I only need a few good uptrending stocks each year to make substantial money. And that is what this is about, making money not supporting ABU like a football team as many do!
When the chart is so good for a sustained period, there is a good chance that will re-occur. I shall watch and wait for that to re-occur.
Having entered ABU for the first time about 15 months ago at 2.9cents to see them hit 8 reverse the trend and still be holding them at 4 cents that to me is just plain crazy. That would be watching 40k just disappear into thin air in 5 months. I have a plan to buy and a plan to sell.
Messy, each to their own, sure. As i say i dont discuss FA cause i dont have the knowledge on any stock to support a view and as i have said its not my area of expertise, but on the TA side of things i believe there is alot of misinformation posted on ABU especially. i provide another view to TA cause that is what i do.
I make no apoligies, cause i dont tell you what you want to hear(hence , not that i care, the reason i get so many thumbs down)
Chuk, the scenario i gave had nothing to do with being realistic or unrealistic, i may have said if an atome bomb lands on their land or the govt stop them from mining it or the ridgey bidgey didgey midgey tribe get an intervention order on the land to keep ABU away.
My analogy or hyperthetical was based on, if something happened to go wrong out of the ordinary you are caught when you average down or dont have a get out strategy....
Oh chuk and this thing of a stock going to zero before it turns, seriously i thought you could do better than that... Buyers buy where they see value but if there are more sellers the price will obviously keep going down.... the trend shall turn when the buyers take control and the sellers dry up.... you are right though, the chart will show that...... TEZZAK, i do sincerely apoligise for the comment i made about your post earlier, i was skimming and totally misread it!!
I will leave the posts to chuk and the like from now on as that is what you guys would rather listen to....
