I don't think the JORC announcement will take long after the final hole is drilled - maybe 2 weeks max I reckon.
MNM have already said that (assuming a density of 1.2tonne/cubic metre) an average seam thickness of 27m equals 1.6Bn tonnes. That was June 2010.

Then in December 2010 they also said that based on historical data for 156 holes they computed the volume to be about 1.8Bn tonnes, which is why I keep using that figure as my base. If the seam thicknesses are 25% greater than that, that would make the JORC about 2.2Bn tonnes. Obviously that changes a bit depending on the last hole.

That's also why I think calls of 2.5-3Bn tonnes are overestimating based on the info we've got, and I'd always rather be pleasantly surprised than the alternative.
Am expecting the JORC sometime in June.
Am hoping for some actual update on Mt Mulligan before that, please.
