west aust was in fact the last (state) to agree to federation and they had to be convinced to join in - many were suspicious but eventually a deal was done
and an interesting fact is that the first time the word "australia" was used officially was in an imperial act in 1834 in description of western australia in regard to government. so we will have that name back and you can call yourselves gillards grizzlers
