    Hi Kent,

yes,i think we are both looking at what is producing NOW,something we can quantify. The bird in the hand is far better than an elephant echoing in the hills somewhere in the mountains, between 1 and 100 miles away.Could be big, could be small and there could be a few or just one of them.

Yes,the whole tindals u/g is an issue.
To some it may even seem, lets just mine what we've committed contractors to and then cease, because of stability issues.I certainly hope that isn't the issue and won't be if more drilling is ensuing as stated.I see FML taking control, probably its ex Mount mining foreman and supervisor have come to place a different angle on future development.

All this pit digging essentially above the underground workings might make it prudent to restrict the underground activity for a bit as has been stated.Seeing where some pits end up and where the ore leads, may yet open up other possibilities and different routes to some deeper ore bodies
or even open up far greater possibilities.

We were all surprised how quickly the Empress pit went down to 80? mtrs. The existing Tindals underground operations only extend down 400mtrs,so maybe a whole of resource size at current prices might make a superpit viable.Just throwing around radical ideas here,or are they?

Now its Empresses first cutback time and that means even greater open pit depth. How big/how deep and how economic cutbacks become with depth will define the future start of underground mining with its higher costs and safety compliance issues.Hopefully the pits keep getting bigger and deeper and that gets the ore out cheaper and then maybe(dreaming here)we get a super pit as a few join together.

Until we know,we know nothing and maybe that's the issue with the tack they've taken. They do no know yet what is going to eventuate, except they are following the ore down in the cheapest cost effective way and the grades picking up in EMPRESS towards the bottom. In Tindals U/G We had 5 ore bodies(1 mined out) and are going to have 8 ore bodies locked up in underground mining by he sound of it,when defined,or will we?If we're lucky maybe one or two of those will be got at by a growing pit and cheaper access and mining economics.Digging and trucking 3.5g/ton from a pit is normally far cheaper than from an underground operation.

DYOR+DYODD All i see is more ore coming at rising grades cheaper, one way or another.Plans have a habit of changing with circumstances and opportunities.Fml tomorrow will bear no resemblence to what you see today.
