crackpot, let me just start by saying, anything I say here isn't meant to be a stab at you directly. I'm actually glad you've made the comments you have because it helps to shed some light on the whole BOT thing for me, personally.

Are you algo trading on a regular basis? Do you find that it helps you to achieve better entry/exit prices? Why as a retail trader would you choose to use algo trading? Do you get charged for each trade?

I think it's safe to say that most people don't understand what purpose BOTS play and mum and dad investors probably have every right to feel disgruntled when they are constantly seeing these tiny, non-marketable parcels going through at set time intervals.

People can't help but feel that it's manipulation.

Now my understanding is that the BOT is used to maintain a certain average price to allow the BOT's "owner" to build or reduce a position.

Is this not price manipulation? It removes the concept of free market forces.

Anyways, interested to see what your comments are - I guess if you are using the algo option, then you must support it's use.
