The main thing is that no one is worse off, in the higher brackets, it's all about looking after the 'disadvantaged.' The tax free threshold at $18k was well overdue. Tax payers up at $60k should've been given more of a break.
Those around the $40k get the best value as Family A/B are at the top rebate levels.
I personally feel the tax should max out at 35% and the Gov look at other ways to increase revenue. The GST needs reworking for starters and big companies dodging tax.
