Uranium is the only way to go forward because of the following reasons.

1. no Co2 emission - good for the environment
2. reliable electricity generation
3. industry proven technology for heavy duty plants
4. cheap
5. Nuclear Plant are very secure these days. not even a SINGLE person killed during Tsunami and earth quake in Japan last year this shows how safe the plant was even it was very old
etc etc

i can type thousands of benefit but for now those points are more than enough to understand the importance of Uranium for our better future.
