complete beginner to share market - questions, page-22

TRACYD...yep, been reading other posts re diversifying. It seems to me that at any given time half your portfolio is up & the other half always down & by yrs end you've gotten nowhere. Not worth it with $5000, & not much to be made in blue chips either. Reckon you would have to go more speccies. Prob 2 or 3 & trade them a while to build up a bank.
