Hi plonko99, you raise some very good points there. I will have to consider whether I want to spend hours on the computer etc. Back in 2000 knowing absolutely nothing about investing I put 3000 quid into a supposedly 'managed' fund and they pretty much lost the lot within months. I have been wondering if I can do better. Maybe, maybe not. But I'd like to try. By the way, female with a strange turn of phrase :)
