We hate growing sunflowers. They catch headers on fire, and block augers up with gum. Hate em with a passion. The price will have to be good.
Cotton is not far away from us these days. I think I'd go cotton before sunflowers. Cotton is great to clean up weed problems too being roundup ready.
This dry weather is also interesting. Too early yet to effect prices, but give another month of dry and things might change. There is nothing forecast for a few weeks at least.
