Marriage is not what gay couples are after, gay relationships are far less stable than hetro. The issue here is the rights they will have achieved. They are a political movement and for the most part are interested in gaining all the rights of "married couples" which will include the adoption of children. The problem with that is the child then is exposed to an unnatural union in society and will see it as a "normal relationship" when it is not. Homosexuality is an abberation in nature and if you were all true evolutionists as most here purport to be, then you would endorse the consequences of such abnormality.
Homosexuality is an affront to human kind and if let prosper it will bring about the extinction of the human race. So why give it any more latitude than what it has already, why let this minority group gain the same stature in society as what is demonstrated in a normal hetrosexual union albeit shaky at times. At least hetro relationships produce children which manage to survive and go on to become part of the humankind.
Homosexuality produces nothing, other than makes us a more dysfunctional society. I came out of a broken home, the effect of my parents relationship breaking up (WW2 issues) had profound implications. My eldest brother became a homosexual and at 45 succomed to aids, the second eldest remained a bachelor and I married and managed to keep it together for the last 36 years having three children who are doing well.
My eldest daughter can't have children and so her husband and her tried to adopt but you might as well forget it as many would tell you....another useless government department which manages to only place 250 children a year.With thousands on the waiting list they are too scared they may stuff up! Off the track there but if the so called "Gay" movement get marriage status you can bet that this same useless department will be looking after their demands for children far more than they do hetro one......why??? political correctness,
Let it get passed as law and homosexuality will be taught as a normal relationship in our schools, in advertisements and in every facet of our lives. It can only survive in a hetro evironment.....put in on an island and it will eventually die out as nature will see to that.
