I find it hard to believe that any company with a SPP would ignore Applications (accompanied by money of course)that were made within the designated time. I know it said that the terms could be varied, but if I had so applied and had been told I was too late I would be very annoyed. Archer invited holders at a certain date to apply by 5pm 7 May and yet it peremptorily abandoned many holders who complied with the timeframe and in good faith.

This makes me wonder about the decency of management. It would certainly make me very hesitant about applying in future. Things might not be as easy next time too, leading to a shortfall perhaps. Makes me think twice about buying too.

Boo hiss imo.
