Some things? Your asking people to step outside of society. Those costs brought up in the first thread are only viable if your living in a kibbutz or a member of a secret religious sect tucked away in the bush.
I forgot to mention a night out with the boys on the town. That's $250 and an absolute necessity once every 6 weeks. $11 for a pint of beer in the city of Melbourne. $20 entry fee to nightclubs and $30 minimum for a cab ride home.
