    Sorry that is a very limited view of life if you think just because you are not spending money like in the Cook's example that you are not living or enjoying your life! Really is a sadder indictment on wider society that people need to do that to be happy now.

    The problem with that view is that many will reach the later life with nothing and have to struggle paying rent etc, additionally have you ever thought that those of us that sacrifice for a nominal period say 10 years will lead a much more comfortable life i.e. we will sacrifice for 10 of our years so that we have a better life for another 50, whereas someone else who doesn't sacrifice spends their whole life in their version of struggling!
