re: News: Northern Star Resources aiming to b... Someone made a good point over on the SLR thread that there could be margin calls happening to explain the inexplicable.
Don't know why I didn't think of that earlier, particularly given my background, but makes definite sense for SLR and NST (and various other goldies) as both have had significant falls that would trigger such calls. So could be one reason.
One thing is for sure, where MCs are triggered due to market collapse rather than a company's fundamentals, once those MCs are finished (or suficient buying comes in to offset their effect), generally a SP will bounce back very quickly.
