You really don't read well or comprehend Badda - understanding what others post and getting into the correct context might help you avoid drawing sad conclusions. I do not recall getting embroiled in the Maccas debate as I do indulge in good dining etc and enjoy a bit of consumerism. This whole debate is out of whack as my very well informed sources in the jewellery industry are telling me the money is not being spent by the poorer section of the community, but the flush with cash babyboomers on reasonably priced ticketted items. We are spending without the fear of foreclosure, pay the rent because investing in property has been kind to us. We made the sacrifice, we by the sweat of our brows pulled our selves up from gutter and made something of our finances and now , quite rightly so are enjoying the richly deserved fruitage of our labour.
