re: News: Northern Star Resources aiming to b... I find it amusing to see predictions of 45 cents (not saying its impossible). I suppose if this did go to 45 cents someone will comeout and say its going to 30 cents and then if this reached 30 cents someone else will say this is going to 20 cents etc etc. It was the opposite a few weeks ago when the price was in the 90's. We had a lot of predictions around $1.30 (me included) and up to $2.00 plus. By the way I still think $1.30 is still fair value based on stage 1 (but I know that doesn't matter in the current environment!!).
So therefore in the short term I have to say my guess is 60 cents would have to be a significant support level. I base this on the fact that it was a key resistence point around Sep - Nov last year where it took several attempts to break through this level. I am not a technical expert so not sure whether there is much substance in this statement !!!
In terms of fundamentals NST is now trading on PE of 4 at 60 cents per share based on stage 1 completion ($60mill earnings / 405 million shares) = 15 cents per share per annum.
Short Term - Sell to 60 cents (I think we are almost there at the bottom)
Medium Term - (Stage 1 completion) $1.30 within 6 months and
Long Term - Stage 2 Completion in 2014 $2.50

Someone mentioned when is June qty due? My understanding is no later then July 31st however I hope they start releasing more monthly statements again. I think this will help the SP !!!!
