I remember in the 60s when Melbourne was a huge cemetery after 6pm , and totally dead at the weekend ,,,,,,,,sorry the treasure market was open in Sundays .
That period was only 3 shops open 24 hours through Princes HWY . Steve Degeorge Dandenong ,,,,,Souvlaki bar Caulfield ,,,,and a take away shop in Brunswick .
Lonsdale st ,,,Stalaktites was the only restaurant after hrs .
