Plenty of good up and coming Aussie Coalies (with PCI/coking coal), however they are years from development. (excluding EOC who could be producing thermal late next year). EOC, CLR, SMR.
The only problem with that is if Coking Coal prices rise, by the time those companies are in production the market is probably already beginning to be flooded with supply (due to the attractiveness of the sector).
It'll be interesting to see if any corporate action occurs for any of the Aussie coalers I've mentioned. All 3 of them (previously take-over targets in the past I'd imagine) have been smashed in recent weeks/months.
Unfortunately the market isn't liking coal stocks all that much at the moment. Infact it's not liking many stocks in general!
