Extraction of any resource is relative to what it costs to extract it. It needs to be viable. The usa had massive demand for Gas just a few years ago. Now they have a glut and the prices have collapsed. Ask BHP about this.
The same could happen here as there seems no shortage of possible gas recovery. This govt has crushed manufacturing and may other sectors.
Demand may not catch up with supply if we and the world goes into a deep depression.
