A few corrections share guru. The DEMONSTRATION plant (AS DESCRIBED BY ERSKOM) started up on the 28th oct 2010 not 2007. It is a cofiring plant where UCG contributes 3MW out of a total of 650MW produced and is for research into UCG. It is also the only UCG operation outside Russia. Now I haven't checked your New Zealand info guru but I would hazard to guess that the reason there is several demos with Ergos technology is that they sold it to erskom and others unlike linc which has so far kept it's know how for itself to develop. On top of this LINC has always said its main priority was UCG for GTL not for power generation. So Ergo is hardly world breaking and ahead of linc in any sense. So Guru please make sure that your information is correct or improve your research skills, it took me 2 minutes to find the above information. While I am here I would like to comment on another matter and that is the inference that linc is running a giant hoax and cannot produce from UCG. Very inflamatory and Libelous comments that the posters have no proof of. I recently read an article on stock bashing where posters are paid to run down a stock on sites such as hotcopper etc for the express purpose of destroying confidence and thus the price. One of the attributes of a basher is to subtly take up suggestions from unfounded, uninformed posters such as gaseous and then build on those rumours. Notice no one ever suggested that Linc was a sham until suddenly gaseous makes ridiculous claims and the rest of the bashers take it up and hint that maybe just maybe PB is lying about everything. He can't even get a new chairman because it might expose him to someone he can't influence etc etc. Anyway enough of the rant now, all the best George
