By not indicating their intention to press on and become producers in this market, would be like deliberately "checkmating themselves"(refer back to Mansell's comment regarding creating value for long-term shareholders).
The mantra of "we will take this thing all the way to mining" must be maintained to attract a strong bid, even if it takes longer to get it.
True valuation will eventually be met, without necessarily going into production. More importantly however, is that the latest manangerial appointment/announcement lets any suitors know that AMX are not going to role over and be an easy takeover target at a ridiculously low price.
Its is seriously like a game of chess from here on....
