The only real threat is can someone do it better as they did to Myspace.
the world evolves and what may be invented in 10 years time may supercede what we see now but in the forseeable future it has a very bright future...until it doesn't.
I prefer to back the horse I can see today than worry about the next generation of horses before they are born.
