The mess Europe is in is because the masses vote in socialist governments.
Problem is you can't continually borrow money to give to those who waste their lives and as well accept into Europe the economic migrants from the third world who incidentally are very often Moslem.
All modern countries have very good education systems matched with technical colleges and universities.
What stuffs that up is women drinking while pregnant (fatal alcohol syndrome), gambling, drinking generally, gambling and drugs. You cannot keep propping this class up.
What is happening in Europe is the accountants are pointing this out to the general population and wether they can do anything about it within a democratic process is anyones guess?
In 1945 Germany and Japan were totally economically destroyed. Within 15 years they were up and going again and even leading the winning nations.
Europe is not destroyed, they simply need to put into place measures to overcome the financial mess they are in. Some of that mess is caused by those who lent money into that stupidity, should they walk away scott free?
What I am saying is these things sort themselves out quicker than people realise, provided they want to.

The rebuilding of large parts of Japan, well Karline, think about it, think about the thing we all say if we could build a city from the ground up. In Japan they are doing exactly that with all that modern science can offer. My gut feeling is they will achieve something for the world to watch. Never in History has a situation like this occurred with the amount of science that is available today.
They may prove that pulling down large parts of the existing old parts of modern cities that economically it is a proposition.
