re: Ann: High grade drill results at Catherwo... 600k is ridiculous (in a good way). At least we know this can go ahead without worrying about cap raisings, GFC II, Greece or whatever.
If PXG can transition into short term production that easily, then it should be enough to survive the current bout of uncertainty.
Now I don't want to start making implications about how much of a "bagger" this should be but I can think of other explorers- which I like- that have not dissimilar reserves but a much more tenous (at this stage) path to production that have 5 times the market cap.
Let's state the obvious:
POG needs to hold (above 1600 is good). I don't care about it hitting US2000, if the attitude becomes embedded in the market that 1500 is the low, that's good enough for me.
Increase of reserves and grades is always good. More like today please. I think Phoenix has a really excellent mix of the longer term (Castle Hill) and short term (good to hear about Blue Funnel). A killer drill result at one of the other projects would be the last piece of the jigsaw for me.
If, on the back of this, they start making some money due to Actually Selling Some Gold, then Bob's your oyster.
and the answers are (1) beyond our control (2) they've done OK so far hope the trend continues and (3) now looking really, really good.
I don't want to start a TA vs FA thread (I like both) but really, I've tried to find a downside, and there are risks- som other HC posters have been helpful in outlining these- but for me, the FA is about as good as you could possibly ask for. Especially at 20 odd million market cap. With continuing good management and good luck, the share price will follow.
