You only sell assest when you are short of money. In this case, MPO was short of mulah and they sold. They didn't sell because they were good share traders, but just because they wanted cash. If you didn't need the cash why would you sell an asset that is returning you an income lol.
It was just luck that they've sold at a high. For what we know, it could have also gone the other way, and the Legacy shares could have been worth north of $20 dollars today.
Managements and Boards are not there to gamble with shareholders assets. They are there, (or so they are supposed to be), to create wealth for their investors. That is something that they have falied to do, while breaking their promises and not keeping up with their undertakings.
There is a hell of a difference there.
